Let your imagination out of the cage and into the wild with this fun week of crafts and activities! Campers will create exciting projects corresponding to a weekly theme that combines art with STEM.
The d'Art Center offers Summer Camp for 6 weeks in June, July, and August. STEAM Summer Camp features activities such as clay, mixed media, technology and digital art, and art on the move.
Students learn from professional art educators and d'Art's on-site resident artists. Throughout these weeks they work collaboratively, enjoy short field trips, and create unique art projects using a variety of media and techniques. Field trips include weekly excursions to the Chrysler Museum to view their current exhibitions, a demonstration at the Perry Glass Studio, and a mural tour of the NEON District.
Week 3 of summer camp is Monday, July 11, through Friday, July 15, from 8:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Parents may drop off their children using our drive-through beginning at 8:00 a.m.
STEAM Summer Camp is for elementary age students (6-10) and middle/high school students (10-14).
