Join nationally renowned painter Ken Wright in this workshop as he helps you sharpen your brush skills, learn and recognize the abstract form in realism, and develop abstract paintings using color, shape, line and form.
Ken Wright is a former arts commissioner for the State of Virginia and has won over 300 awards and honors for his work. More recently, Ken's work can be found in the collections of past Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, who displayed his pieces in the White House.
This workshop is geared for aged 13+ with painting knowledge and skills ranging from some to professional.
Students must supply their own materials:
Acrylic paints, canvas (16 x 20 or slightly smaller)
a water container
brushes of various sizes
a palette
and paper towels.
