About This Event

The d'Art Center will be offering (3) free digital art portfolio workshops in March, April, and May 2025 for (30) Juniors and Seniors in High School.

This program will assist students in assembling a digital art portfolio for college applications and/or for art career applications. 


This program will include:

  • Two art critiques for students to analyze, reflect, and evaluate their peers' works 
  • Creating a digital art portfolio to send with college or career applications


Each workshop session will be spread over 4 Saturdays for the selected month and the time frame will be 1-4pm.

Students may only register for (1) workshop (includes 4 dates).

Location: Classroom at d'Art Center on 740 Boush Street in Norfolk, VA


Available Workshops

Session 1: March 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd

Session 2: April 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th

Session 3: May 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th

All sessions will be from 1-4pm.


With help from the City of Norfolk and their Program for Improving Capacity and Capability (PICC) Grant, the d'Art Center is able to bring back free programming for our community, but we need your help to gather some information required by the grant to meet our goal in Connecting the Community with the Visual Arts, this information will be included in the registration form.


This workshop is free and open to Junior and Seniors in high school, but you must RSVP as space is limited!  Please arrive on time.
