Have you ever wanted to learn the basics of ceramics, but the wheel seems a bit overwhelming? Don’t have time for an eight- week program? First time and beginner potters will love this hands-on workshop where resident artist Holly Graves will introduce you to hand building techniques and her tips on surface decoration. Join us in the three-day workshop where we will discuss the stages of ceramics, learn the equipment, techniques such as coil and slab building, and how to paint un-fired clay. No experience is needed, yet each participant will leave this workshop with finished ceramic work that they have hand built, carved, added elements too, and painted.
