Have you ever wanted to learn the basics of ceramics, but the wheel seems a bit overwhelming? Don’t have time for an eight- week program? First time and beginner potters will love this 3-session workshop where resident artist Holly Graves will introduce you to slip cast techniques utilizing ceramic molds and her tips on surface decoration. Join us in the three-day workshop where we will discuss the stages of ceramics, slip casting, learn the trimming tools, and how to paint un-fired clay. No experience is needed, yet each participant will leave this workshop with multiple ceramic pieces that they have slip casted, hand carved, and painted.
