The Teens With a Purpose (TWP) 2020 TWP Gala is to be held November 10th at The Chrysler Museum. It promises to be an evening filled with inspiration, as we celebrate Hampton Roads teens’ limitless potential and transformation through the Move Maker Awards & Scholarship Program. Move Makers definition: a Young person who has persevered in spite of adversities that may have held him/her back in the past. Going from unsung heroes to Teens!

Teens With a Purpose is the only, Hampton Roads organization that provides year-round arts based youth development programs where teens become the peer leaders. Our decades of service focus on the areas most vulnerable youth. Teens With A Purpose programs are accessible to every young person. Gala supporters like you, make it possible for this unique program to be offered at no cost to its participants. This work takes place in Hampton Roads class rooms, in their urban garden; in the only teen center in Norfolk and in communities throughout the region. Hard work and outstanding results have earned TWP local, regional as well as national recognition. Our MISSION is to create a platform that empowers young people to use their voice, creativity, reflection and action to affect personal growth, transform lives and impact surrounding communities.
